Tucked away in the heart of the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, the Valley of Flowers is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its mesmerizing alpine flora, serene landscapes, and spiritual aura. This enchanting trek takes you into a fairyland of vibrant blooms, snow-capped peaks, and tranquil streams—a must-do Himalayan experience.

Best Time to Visit

 

Mid-July to Mid-August is the ideal time when the valley is in full bloom after the monsoon showers. The flowers are at their most vibrant during this short window.



Day 1: Haridwar/Rishikesh to Govindghat (Drive – 270 km, 10 hrs)

Early morning drive along the Ganga and Alaknanda rivers via Devprayag and Joshimath. Overnight stay at Govindghat.



Day 2: Govindghat to Ghangaria (Trek – 9 km)

Start trekking alongside the Pushpawati River, passing waterfalls and forests. Reach the quaint village of Ghangaria. Overnight in guesthouse/camp.



Day 3: Ghangaria to Valley of Flowers and back (Trek – 10 km)

Explore the vibrant meadows bursting with countless alpine flowers. Spend quality time soaking in the views and return to Ghangaria by evening.



Day 4: Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib and back (Trek – 12 km)

Ascend to the sacred Hemkund Sahib, one of the highest Gurudwaras in the world. Return to Ghangaria for overnight stay.



Day 5: Ghangaria to Govindghat (Trek – 9 km), Drive to Joshimath (1 hr)

Descend to Govindghat and drive to Joshimath. Optional visit to Auli or Badrinath if time permits.



Day 6: Joshimath to Haridwar/Rishikesh (Drive – 270 km)

Scenic drive back, marking the end of your unforgettable journey.

  • 2 Nights Stay at Govindghat (Guesthouse/Hotel – twin/triple sharing).
  • 3 Nights Stay at Ghangaria in cozy guesthouses/lodges (twin/triple sharing basis).



3. All Meals During the Trek:
  • Nutritious vegetarian meals starting from Day 1 Dinner to Day 6 Breakfast.

4. Trekking Permits & Entry Fees:
