Day 1: Dehradun to Raithal (Drive – 185 km | 8–9 hrs)

 

Pickup early morning from Dehradun Railway Station (6:30–7:00 AM)

Scenic drive along the Ganges, Bhagirathi, and river valleys

En route stops at Uttarkashi and picturesque hill hamlets

Reach Raithal village (7,400 ft) – base camp of Dayara Bugyal trek

Evening acclimatization walk and introduction session

Overnight stay in homestay/guesthouse

Day 2: Raithal to Gui (Trek – 4.5 km | 3–4 hrs)

 

Trek begins with a beautiful forest trail through oak, maple, and rhododendron trees

Gentle climb to Gui Campsite (9,500 ft) with stunning views of the valley

Campsite surrounded by pine forests and open meadows

Sunset views of Gangotri peaks and Bandarpoonch

Bonfire (weather permitting), fun group activities

Overnight stay in tents at Gui

Day 3: Gui to Dayara Bugyal Top and back to Chilapada (Trek – 9 km round trip | 6–7 hrs)

 

Early morning start to reach Dayara Bugyal (12,000 ft) – the highlight of the trek

Cross alpine meadows, open ridge walks with surreal Himalayan views

Witness the vast green (or snow-covered) expanse of Dayara Bugyal – one of the highest meadows in India

Explore the Bugyal, take photos, enjoy a packed lunch amidst nature

Descend to Chilapada campsite (9,800 ft)

Overnight stay in tents

Day 4: Chilapada to Raithal (Trek – 6 km | 3–4 hrs)

 

Easy descend through forest trails

Reach Raithal village by afternoon

Rest and explore local village life, visit old temples

Overnight stay in homestay

  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

 

Day 5: Raithal to Dehradun (Drive – 185 km | 8–9 hrs)

 

Early morning departure after breakfast

Reach Dehradun by evening (around 6:00–7:00 PM)

Trek ends with beautiful memories and friendships
