DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Pickup from Dehradun Railway Station – Drive to Sankri (210 km | 8-9 hrs | 1,920 m)

Your journey begins with a scenic drive through the foothills of the Himalayas, crossing Mussoorie, Purola, and Mori. Sankri is a beautiful mountain village and the basecamp for many treks. Overnight stay in guesthouse/homestay.

Day 2: Trek from Sankri to Sikolta (7 km | 4-5 hrs | 2,900 m)

Today’s trek takes you through thick pine and oak forests with views of snow-capped peaks. Camp amidst nature in the serene meadow of Sikolta.

Day 3: Trek from Sikolta to Pushtara via Bhoj Gadi (10 km | 6-7 hrs)

A thrilling trek through mixed forest, alpine meadows, and ancient bhojpatra trees. Reach the high-altitude meadows of Pushtara with panoramic views.

 

Day 4: Trek from Pushtara to Taloti (8 km | 4-5 hrs)

Continue through undulating trails and forest ridges. Taloti is a tranquil camping site surrounded by wilderness.

Day 5: Trek from Taloti to Sarutal (9 km | 5-6 hrs)

This section includes stream crossings, alpine forest trails, and beautiful landscapes. Camp beside the pristine Sarutal lake.

Day 6: Trek from Sarutal to Fachu Kandi Pass (4,356 m) and descend to Rateri/Manjivan Camp (10 km | 6-7 hrs)

The most adventurous day! Cross the breathtaking Fachu Kandi Pass—surrounded by towering peaks and dramatic scenery. After reaching the summit, descend to your camp.

Day 7: Trek from Rateri to Madiya/Posla Camp (9 km | 4-5 hrs)

An easy descent day through wildflower-filled meadows and forest glades. A peaceful camp night under the stars.

Day 8: Trek to Hanuman Chatti (Drive to Dehradun)

Last stretch of the trail takes you to Hanuman Chatti. From here, drive back to Dehradun with unforgettable memories.
