DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival at Janglik (9,200 ft) – Drive from Shimla (160 km / 7-8 hrs)
- Arrive in Shimla early morning. Meet our team and begin a scenic drive through beautiful pine forests, apple orchards, and charming Himachali villages.
- Reach the traditional village of Janglik, our base camp, by evening.
- Check-in to homestays or camps. Evening acclimatization walk.
- Overnight Stay: Janglik (Homestay/Tent)

Day 2: Janglik to Dayara Thach (11,075 ft) | Trek 5 km | 4-5 hrs
- Begin the trek through dense oak and pine forests, meadows, and clearings.
- Gradual ascent opens up to panoramic views of snow-covered peaks.
- Reach the lush high-altitude meadow of Dayara Thach.
- Spend the evening watching golden light fall over the Dhauladhar range.
- Overnight Stay: Campsite at Dayara Thach

Day 3: Dayara Thach to Litham (11,800 ft) | Trek 6 km | 4-5 hrs
- Easy yet mesmerizing trail through alpine flowers, waterfalls, and grazing grounds.
- Arrive at Litham, a serene meadow at the confluence of Pabbar and Chandranahan streams.
- Explore nearby ridges or relax by the stream.
- Overnight Stay: Campsite at Litham

Day 4: Acclimatization & Excursion to Chandranahan Lake (13,800 ft) | 6 km (round trip) | 5-6 hrs
- Trek to the sacred and glacial Chandranahan Lake, a series of 7 alpine lakes nestled in a remote bowl-like setting.
- It’s a spiritual place for locals and considered the origin of the Pabbar River.
- Return to Litham for overnight stay.
- Overnight Stay: Litham

Day 5: Litham to Dhunda (13,100 ft) | Trek 4 km | 3-4 hrs
- A thrilling day with a gradual ascent through rocky terrain and snow patches.
- Trek toward the base of Buran Pass, surrounded by sharp peaks and alpine grandeur.
- Dhunda is known for its breathtaking sunrise/sunset views and stark Himalayan beauty.
- Overnight Stay: Dhunda (Tent)
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 6: Dhunda to River Camp via Buran Ghati Pass (15,000 ft) | Trek 7 km | 8-9 hrs
- Today’s the most thrilling day of the trek!
- Early morning steep climb to Buran Ghati Pass, an exhilarating and snow-covered saddle offering stunning views.
- Experience an epic 65–70 ft vertical snow wall descent (with ropes and guides support) – truly an adrenaline-pumping adventure!
- Descend to River Camp below the treeline.
- Overnight Stay: River Camp (Tent)
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 7: River Camp to Barua Village (6,500 ft) – Drive to Shimla | Trek 6 km + Drive 6-7 hrs
- Trek down through forests, orchards, and charming villages to reach Barua.
- Drive back to Shimla with hearts full of memories and cameras full of stunning landscapes.
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
